4. How to install WordPress with ease?

What is WordPress? – What is its difference between domain, theme and what is CMS platform?

WordPress is a web Content Management System (CMS) which is a software system that provides website authoring, collaboration, and administration tools.

It is designed to allow users with little knowledge of web programming languages or markup languages to create and manage website content with relative ease.

The software is open-source allowing developers to create a wide range of plug-ins, themes and widgets.  WordPress is a free (CSM)

Here’s how to easily install the WordPress on Hostgator Control Panel.

Most Hosting Providers have a free service on their Control Panel that installs WordPress. WordPress is a free and the most popular Content Management System (CMS) platform. They are very easy. Hostgator Control Panel and Hostgator Customer Portal are different tools/locations. CPanel is a web hosting account management tool.

Select the domain name you want to install into the WordPress. After you have selected, click next.

After you have selected, click next. You will then see this page below:

Website or Blog Title: The title of your site.

Admin User: this will be used when logging in to your WordPress Dashboard.

For example your user name in this instance could be Admin-golfer.

Admin Email: add the email address you prefer which will receive the notification from your site, like updates of WordPress, someone commented on your post or even asked to join your site.

Leave the “Automatically create a new database for this installation” checked and check the Terms of Service Agreement.

Then click install now.

It only takes a minute or few seconds for it to install.

Once finished, you will we given your new logins.
