I recommend using the top 5 web hosting sites today:
For the purpose of this guide I will be using Hostgator, as it is the one I prefer.
Far left of their menu you can see the “Domains” Tab.
Type the domain name you already decided to have in the bar below.
If your domain name is unavailable, try the next one on your list.
Once you found your domain name, here is the sequence to follow:
- You will be asked for some details to create your account on Hostgator,
- Fill in the fields in creating the account,
- Check your order summary and choose your payment options.
When done purchasing you will be taken to their Customer Portal.
The Hostgator Customer Portal is where you can see your Hostgator account settings, account summary, your billings, and the list of domains you purchases, what hosting you availed and where you can contact the Hostgator support.
